• Review, backup and clean Windows System and Application Event Logs
  
• Run Antivirus and Antispyware Software Update and Definitions
  
• Review Antivirus and Antispyware Logs for Infections or errors
  
• Clean Internet Explorer Files, Cookies and Temporary Files
  
• Check Free Disk Space Exists and Defragment Hard Drives
  
• Empty Recycle Bin
  
• Uninstall Unnecessary Programs, Gadgets, Instant Messaging Programs and Music and File Sharing Programs
  
• Create System Restore Points and Test Restoring Backups
  
• Install High-Priority Microsoft Updates
  
• Perform Archive Function on Outlook.PST Files Larger Than 2GB
